My team mate was great to work with and made me feel welcome. The location was great - right in the heart of London city. I gained experience within the Reception, Facilities and HR department. The company allowed me to take on a secondment role within HR to get some experience and bring values to the company.
Cons
No room to develop. Bad organisational culture. No pay rises expect for when the cost of living crises occurred and we got 5%. Many hierarchy don't listen to the employees voices to improve on our products - hence many redundancies recently.

Pros
Liontrust are a great company to work for. In the often trick segment of financial services, they look after clients, shareholders and employees in equal measure. With a clear strategy to be a market leader there are plenty of opportunities for stretch roles and projects and young investment talent is able to move to where it is best suited.
Cons
None really. The office location is great even if the condition is reflective of its last refurb but with flexible working this is less of an issue than it was.
Decent salary and work life balance. Used to have the ability to be free thinking and manage your clients. This worked extremely well under the previous head of sales. Now the focus is sell what they think is good rather than what the market wants.
Cons
Under the new head of sales, one size must fit all. Everyone looks the same, they are all mates and everyone is under 40. There is no room to bring ideas or experience to the team. Anyone outside of London or part of the inner ‘mate’ circle has either been let go or out soon.
