Pros

After 20 years in a very structured policy driven environment, coming to work for Lithko was and is a breath of fresh air. Lithko is a half a Billion dollar company that gives you the small company family environment without the small company politics. The great culture, team cohesiveness and family feel is not what you wold expect for a company its size. Lithko does not believe in a vertical hierarchy, theirs is more horizontal, every manager and leader has an open door policy and they all make you feel like a valued member of the team. There are lots of companies out there that say "people" are their most important asset, but Lithko by far walks the walks when it comes to taking care of all its employees. Work/Life balance is at the forefront of everything that we do, the company's goal is to make sure every colleague goes home every night without the need to be on travel away from family. They encourage community involvement through community service projects and through Lithko employees volunteering their time throughout the community they live in. There is a tremendous growth forecast, growth that foresees Lithko surpassing 1 Billion dollars in the next 15 years and expanding to 50 locations. The strategic growth plan, along with the culture, family environment and career opportunities are some of the reasons why I love working for this company. Personal & professional development are very important to Lithko. They assign new hires technical mentors that will help them get assimilated to the company quickly, allowing you to learn your job faster.

Cons

Like any job, Lithko is not for everyone. If you are not self-motivated, self-driven or if you need lots of instructions to get the job done, then Lithko is not for you. If you depend on policies and standard operating procedures to work through problems, this is not for you either.

Pros

With more projects coming, more opportunities to grow comes along. People are very good to work with at Plain city office. Management gives you the freedom to manage your projects with less micro management.

Cons

Need more desks cubicles/offices for new hires.
