Pros
Working at Little Words Project has been such a rewarding experience, especially as someone stepping into their first corporate role. From day one, I felt genuinely welcomed, supported, and given the grace to learn and grow. I couldn't have asked for a more encouraging and understanding direct team but beyond that, the organization as a whole is incredibly kind, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile—not just for the brand, but for each other.
While it may appear from the outside like a large corporation, it’s very much a tight-knit team behind the scenes. Whether it’s jumping into different roles to help fulfill orders or pivoting quickly to pull off last-minute event changes, everyone rolls up their sleeves and gets it done. That kind of collaboration and dedication is rare and it speaks volumes about the culture and leadership here. It’s truly inspiring to see such a small team come together with so much heart.
Cons
Because the team is still relatively small and the company is growing steadily, opportunities to move up the corporate ladder can be limited. Roles and responsibilities often overlap, which offers great learning opportunities but can be challenging for those looking for a clear, upward trajectory in the short term. That said, the hands-on experience and exposure you gain are incredibly valuable.
As with any close-knit, fast-paced company, things move quickly and resources can be stretched. But if you’re someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and isn’t afraid to pitch in wherever needed, it’s incredibly fulfilling.
