Pros
LiveRamp is an excellent company to work for. They have the growth, flexibility, and culture of a start-up but with the backing, stability, and benefits of a large company. It is a place that really values learning and personal growth, and encourages you to improve. The people are friendly, open, and helpful and the higher ups eat lunch with the rest of us.
Cons
Not much honestly. A bit difficult to understand their product from the outside, so it can take a bit of time to to fully understand the context of the code. The flip side to flexible start up culture is that you need to be a bit more proactive. If you want to start contributing to a real project right away LiveRamp is your place. If you want a very strict training program with steps A - Z mapped for you you won't find that. You have the freedom to do what works for you, the flip side of which is that you need to pay attention to your own tendencies and figure out what does work for you. You have to communicate, ask questions when you don't know. All of which I feel is just another good opportunity to improve yourself but could also lead you into trouble if you expect greater structure.
