Pros

Only one word to sum it up, … leaving.

Cons

Working at LoanBoss had been an experience straight out of a nightmare. Under the "leadership" of perhaps the smallest man to ever hold a CEO title, this company embodies everything wrong with corporate culture. Management and Leadership: If you enjoy being mansplained to by egotistical, power-hungry individuals who rule like dictators, this is your dream workplace. The CEO sets the tone by micro-managing every aspect of the company while simultaneously being completely out of touch with reality. Work Environment: The atmosphere is toxic, to say the least. Employees are overworked and underpaid, with expectations that border on absurdity. Forget work-life balance; here, work is your life, whether you like it or not. Culture: The culture is best described as a cult of personality around the CEO. Dissent is not tolerated, and innovation is stifled by a fear-driven environment where any suggestion that challenges the status quo is met with disdain. Compensation and Benefits: Compensation is laughable for the amount of work expected. Benefits are minimal, and perks are non-existent. The only thing you'll gain here is a lesson in resilience and perhaps a few sleepless nights. Conclusion: The only redeeming quality of this company is its employees, who, despite the conditions, manage to support each other through the daily grind. If you find yourself considering a job here, reconsider. Your sanity and self-worth are worth far more than any paycheck from this purgatory.

Pros

I came in knowing basically nothing about loan structures or legal documents and left understanding them better than most customers.  Got solid raises every six months.  Management noticed when you were putting in real work and they rewarded it.  Great teammates were favorite part of the job. Great insurance, 100% covered premium. Three weeks of PTO day 1 and Fridays end at 3pm.

Cons

Decisions would get made and you'd hear about them third-hand, which was frustrating. Had a teammate for close to 18 months who wasn't pulling their weight and made things harder for everyone else. Eventually dealt with but it dragged on longer than it should have.  No 401k match.
