Pros

Only one word to sum it up, … leaving.

Cons

Working at LoanBoss had been an experience straight out of a nightmare. Under the "leadership" of perhaps the smallest man to ever hold a CEO title, this company embodies everything wrong with corporate culture. Management and Leadership: If you enjoy being mansplained to by egotistical, power-hungry individuals who rule like dictators, this is your dream workplace. The CEO sets the tone by micro-managing every aspect of the company while simultaneously being completely out of touch with reality. Work Environment: The atmosphere is toxic, to say the least. Employees are overworked and underpaid, with expectations that border on absurdity. Forget work-life balance; here, work is your life, whether you like it or not. Culture: The culture is best described as a cult of personality around the CEO. Dissent is not tolerated, and innovation is stifled by a fear-driven environment where any suggestion that challenges the status quo is met with disdain. Compensation and Benefits: Compensation is laughable for the amount of work expected. Benefits are minimal, and perks are non-existent. The only thing you'll gain here is a lesson in resilience and perhaps a few sleepless nights. Conclusion: The only redeeming quality of this company is its employees, who, despite the conditions, manage to support each other through the daily grind. If you find yourself considering a job here, reconsider. Your sanity and self-worth are worth far more than any paycheck from this purgatory.

Pros

I worked with some really awesome people

Cons

I worked here for almost a year and a half. In my time here I saw the company go from upwards of 60 employees to 29 when I left. The company is failing but they will try to distract you from stagnant, unlivable pay and micromanagement with pizza parties. This place is like if The Office was filmed in hell where the manager is just an emotionless egomaniac. They punish the masses for one persons mistake but don’t celebrate the wins you provide. When I saw they micromanage, here’s a list of what I witnessed: - Told not to leave the office for lunch unless to grab food and come right back - Was told to take my lunch at the same time as my irresponsible coworker to set a good example for her since she took too long, instead of my manager just speaking to her - CEO was not buying us paper towels since the sales team wasn’t making any sales (punishing everyone for bad business practices) - Told to make doctor appointments on weekends (what doctors office is open on weekends???) - When there is zero work to be done, you are still expected to “look busy” in case the CEO comes in, even though the lack of work is not a secret to anyone I put in my two weeks notice after receiving an unbelievably good job offer allowing me to work from home on top of a 30k raise. JP got butthurt and basically told me to kick rocks, and that I should pack up my desk and leave within two days. This is a month after my review where I was told I was adored by the team and was the standard other team members were held to, and that my manager wishes he had a dozen of me. He is a bully and will scream at his employees to the point of tears, and will fire anyone who disagrees with him. You know how employers do a background check on you before hire? Do yourself a favor. Do a background check on the CEO, and you’ll find a few disturbing charges against him. Don’t work here. Do yourself a favor and keep job hunting. I know looking for jobs and interviewing is a hard and tedious process, but working here will do nothing but give you sleepless nights and crying sessions in the bathroom.

Pros

There are no pros to working for this company other than receiving a paycheck.

Cons

This company is extremely toxic. The team is unprofessional and the owner runs it like a dictatorship. People get fired at random over nonsensical things. There is little to no structure and they make up roles as they go because people are unqualified for the positions they were hired for. Do not work here if you care about your mental health and want to be respected by your colleagues + management.
