Pros

- Great offices. - HR team make an effort for staff - some passionate people trying their best to do positive things for London

Cons

- Doesn’t know how to keep talent. - Poor CEO - CEO came in and and in her first Management role decided that despite L&P hitting all its stretch targets (a minor miracle in the face of Brexit) that the organisation needed a different strategy, a restructure, rebrand, to lose a load of people, to hire a load of others, promote whosever left, open new offices around the world, cut off major sources of funding. - Staff moral is poor - first time it is not delivering results. - No budgets. - Too reliant on Mayors office for permissions. - The whole time I was at L&P there was some drama going on the negatively impacted on staff moral.

London & Partners Response

Thank you for taking the time to write your review, and we’re happy to hear there were some very positive aspects of your time at London & Partners. As you will know we have aligned London & Partners' strategy to the changing circumstances that London faces. This has meant a greater focus on our international markets and audiences. As a result we have had to re-align the organisation to deliver against that strategy. It has always been a priority for us to involve our employees at each stage of the process and we have attempted to be as transparent and timely as possible. I’m sorry to hear that you have doubts about the benefits of this change. Changes in strategy always come with a period of uncertainty, albeit that we have tried to minimise that. We are confident that London & Partners is in better shape to deliver against the new agenda. As always, I am more than happy to continue this conversation.

Pros

Great location in San Francisco. VERY friendly supervisors who are happy to talk to you and actually get to know you. Because the office is so small (two VPs and you + maybe more interns), you get to learn a lot and work closely with the VPs. Great opportunity.

Cons

The work that you do is not the most exciting stuff. It primarily consists of company research which DOES enable you to learn more about different industries (especially in the start-up field), it gets repetitive and mundane.
