Pros

Let me just start by saying - all of the positive reviews you see on Glass Door for this company? The company asked employees to submit those shortly after their hire date as part of a new hire survey. Remote work but can be in-office if you live in Nashville Healthcare benefits are available but are not great PTO is unlimited in theory but the actuality is different

Cons

Terrible work environment; if you are in client services (AE, AM, Implementation), it's a nightmare. Constant change in direction, nothing is documented. Single points of failure all over the company (Ops, IT, Finance, you name it). Antiquated systems; almost no use of AI; it takes months for claims to be paid, so clients will be screaming at you about why members info is wrong on the portal. You can't trust the data that is available because nothing adds up the way it should. As of Oct 2025, people are leaving left and right from client services. The ones who remain are desperately looking to get out. PTO is a joke; it's unlimited but people are so stressed out about their enormous client loads that they are almost always checking emails at some point during time away. You can never truly unplug. You can never truly get away. And as more people leave, their clients just get dumped on the rest of us. Sales and brokers are the sacred cows - they can do no wrong and we must cater to their every need. The philosophy here is "we say yes to everything" which means if you are in client services, you are stuck holding the bag when things go wrong. Also, no career growth or advancement. Everyone is just trying to survive day to day. Diversity is extremely limited; sales is all a bunch of white guys. C-suite is all a bunch of white guys.

Pros

The best part of my experience so far would definitely the culture! It is evident that people enjoy working here. They are passionate about what they their part is and strive for excellence in doing so. Knowing that the tenure here is high and even those that may have left at some point decided to return. That speaks VOLUMES! In addition, I already feel I am valued in my role. That I I wasn't just selected to fill a vacancy, but rather because of the unique experience and skills I bring. It’s clear that both I and my colleagues were strategically chosen to contribute to the growth ,advancement and success of the department and the company as a whole. Work-life balance. Competitive Pay!

Cons

Initial Onboarding process could use some revamping. Nothing to major. Meet/greeted by C-suite, upper management and HR. Introduction of company ethics, values, and blueprint. This was initially presented by my colleague who created, presented and provided a comprehensive welcome packet themselves rather than HR/onboarding. Created detailed step-by-step guide for new teammates, outlining what we need to do and expect during the onboarding process. Assign a dedicated support representative to each new employee to assist with any questions or issues during the initial period. -- Personal Preference: Location.. Horrible Downtown Traffic.
