Pros

Used to be a great place to work with great people to work with. Some of those people might still be there. The new management has run off or fired most of the long term, knowledgeable employees.

Cons

Upper management doesn't practice what they preach. They act anything but honest, ethical, hardworking and nice. Only Yes Men need apply, if you have any type of opinion or experience that might suggest they aren't doing something right you will be completely dismissed. The primary focus has turned away from taking care of the customers to putting cash in the C Suite's pockets. I guess they haven't figured out that they need customers to make that cash. Certain employees are expected to do more and more while other employees are allowed to coast. Longtime experienced employees go underpaid, middle management has to fight to get core business positions filled, and if you are lucky to get permission to hire you won't be able to pay a competitive enough salary to get a good employee. Yet the C Suite doesn't think twice about adding another one of their Yes Men at a 6 figure salary. These 6 figure Yes Men do not accept any responsibility for problems and blame either former employees or current employees that don't get paid enough to take on that responsibility.

Thank you for your comments! Lucent Health strongly believes in an open and honest dialog with all Employees. Your comments help us to better understand how some Employees may be perceiving the company. We are on a path of continual improvement and striving to get closer to “perfect”, because that’s what our clients expect from us. A few thoughts and some examples below on how Lucent Health continues to listen to Employees and makes investment in our teams and company culture: 1. SOTC - We have implemented quarterly State of the Company (SOTC) calls that include all Employees and our CEO. We recently completed another one — with a live Employee audience. Lucent Health wants the senior team and all managers to directly interact with the team and be accessible, visible and responsive. 2. Town Hall – Following each State of the Company Call (SOTC), we now have an open/unrehearsed Town Hall with our CEO, CSO, myself and local employees; we recently completed another Town Hall, this time with 65 employees from our Nashville campus. Our previous Town Hall was with a similar number of Employees from our Rancho Cordova (Sacramento) campus. 3. Ideas @ Lucent Health – Earlier this year we launched the Ideas @ Lucent Health initiative; this program encourages all Employees to provide their suggestions directly to the leadership team. This has resulted in several great ideas from the team, and many have become approved and are being implemented. We rely on the fantastic innovation, ideas and comments from all Employees. Everyone is welcomed! 4. Tiger Teams –– Last year, Lucent Health launched a variety of Tiger Teams to drive change in the company. These teams include our rebrand Lucent Forward team as well as our Salesforce.com SFDC Advisory Board, both of which empower member Employees to help create new ways of working within Lucent Health; these in-turn help create a great collaborative work environment while also ensuring a great customer experience with our brand. 5. 55 New Team Members – So far this year, Lucent Health has hired over 50 new Employees across the country! And we’re still hiring! We continue to seek well-qualified persons for positions throughout Lucent Health. Additionally, to help expedite the Employee referral program, we created an internal Employee referral page https://www.lucenthealth.com/lucent-health-employee-referral-program/. This provides a quick and easy way for any Employee to recommend someone for an open position. We enjoy hearing from our Employees! 6. Internal Communications – Lucent Health regularly queries all leaders and managers for suggestions, feedback and related information that should be communicated across the entire company. In this way, Lucent Health greatly desires for all Employees to be informed about upcoming changes, new programs and solicit their feedback as well via the many channels we’ve put in place such as the SOTC, Town Hall, etc. We encourage you to continue to provide more comments and suggestions too. Please email marketing@lucenthealth.com to get the ball rolling. We want to hear from you! Thanks

Pros

The only Pro's I can give this company, go to those people were employed by the previously named "North America Administrators".

Cons

Where to begin. This company has embraced the business model reminiscent of rape, pillage, burn and repeat. They buyThird Party Administators (TPA) only dismantle and data mine, leaving their customer base(s) to suffer. Their disturbingly antiquated management styles have created a toxic blend of Executive narcissim and a CEO's megalomania, leaving a once great company to the ruin of pirates.

Employees Deserve Better

Pros

Good benefits, good employees, some positive changes but still a long way to go

Cons

Compensation is not competitive for employees but extremely fruitful for executives. Turnover is really high which is causing the hard-working employees to be stretched even thinner. Burnout is inevitable for them. Upper management continues to not listen to employee needs. The focus is on the bottom dollar and no longer on quality service. Time is continuously wasted in pointless meetings where nothing comes from it. Numerous high-quality and hard working employees have left due to the cultural shift and egos of upper management. The ones who are left stay for fear of change or former loyalty to the way it used to be. Hope is pretty much gone and employees are demoralized. Growth opportunities are a joke. They keep hiring high-level staff who don't have the right background and experience.
