Avoid at all costs - Software Engineer Lucid Circuit Employee Review

After interning for Lucid Circuits, I was extremely pleased with my experience. The engineers at Lucid Circuits are very bright and genuinely care about your learning and experience as an intern. Furthermore, they are very flexible with scheduling work hours and have paid time off. The office is located in a great location a few blocks down from the pier in Santa Monica. Overall would highly recommend Lucid Circuits for any prospective interns/engineers.

This isn't necessarily a con, but you have to be comfortable working independently on projects.

The company is doing amazing things on the technology front while making sure that employees are engaged, challenged and excel in their positions. There is a linear management structure so you always know that your voice is being heard. Since it is a start-up, there is never a shortage of challenging projects and you get to work with really smart colleagues in a collaborative and supportive environment. Our CEO has the best work ethic I've ever witnessed from a leader of any company I've ever worked with. I consider myself lucky to be part of the Lucid Circuit team.

As an employee, you need to manage your time well so you don't fall behind, since there are multiple projects with overlapping deadlines. Prepare to be challenged!
