Change is Constant... - Senior Manager Lumen Employee Review

Pros

The company is evolving quickly. Be open to sudden pivots and look for ways to utilize AI. Innovation is promoted -- if you can come up with a usable patentable idea, you will get a patent. Senior Management has a clear focus on where it wants the company to be. Assets are strong and it seems to be turning the corner.

Cons

If you join a part of the org that is tied to "legacy" telecom, you'll likely be looking for work or working for another company. The company is all in on AI and that seems to be as important as the "Lumen8". Expect the company to be sold when the balance sheet and the stock price make sense to a purchaser -- probably just before they ring up a profit and have most of the debt reduced.

Pros

Great company, everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. Management was pretty laid back but still expected results. This role was remote btw.

Cons

No bad things to say

Pros

Ability to work remotely, wanting too share knowledge or learned skills with AI.

Cons

Treat people more like independent contractors and don't have centralized places to find information that it needed. There SharePoint sites are not easy to navigate.
