Pros

- Some IT staff have a flexible work arrangement (WFH, alternate hours). Unclear if this is going to last. - Salaries are pretty competitive if you come from outside. - High performers will shine against long time/disgruntled employees

Cons

- Professional growth (outside of just learing how CTL does things) is non-existant - No real training whatsoever (plenty of web based, cheap training) - Promotion and career opportunities are rare. Merger created some opportunities, but going forward will likely be very static. - Upper management in IT seems to be a culture of 'yes' and cronyism. - Merger has created a disfunctional environment, and will likely require another year or so to settle. - IT Program Managers are subject to inane/onerous processes from people who have no idea on how to manage IT initiatives - Be ready for a mountain of administration that a monkey could do.

Cons

So many issues. No raises. Layoffs everywhere. When those happen you have to do extra work (no additional pay) Toxic culture Leaders are DINOSAURS who should be cut. C suite delusional on growth expectations Run away from this place and don’t ruin your career.
