Pros
I like The work itself. Driving company vehicle to and from home. Those are probably the only pros.
Cons
-underpaid. All the other carriers pay more. If you got hired under level 3 you are basically screwed. The new hires started out higher than guys who had been there for years that were with level 3. -lack of career growth/ promotions unless you want to move to a different organization within the company. You can be a 10000% rockstar at your job year over year and you won’t get promoted to next tech level if someone else already has it. Basically they limit how many tech 1,2,3 and 4’s can be in each market. -no annual raises even for those who are rated as top performers. -management is extremely rude and disrespectful. One of my managers was the most disrespectful person I have ever worked with ever and when I tried having a professional conversation about it he literally dodged everything I said and then told me “I feel like we are wasting our time on this call”. -management expects the impossible of you. No matter how much work you have, you cannot say no to anything. -zero extra pay for being on call. -constantly harassed and hounded to get things done way before the due date. Basically, everything should’ve been done yesterday. -there is zero empathy or anything for techs. Upper management just doesn’t care. Every so often we are to take what’s called “employee engagement surveys” and every time the results are literally a joke. They are so low across the board. Basically nobody is happy to be there and the scores are so low yet management does nothing to try to make it better, so what is the point to this? To make it look like they care? Don’t be fooled. They don’t. -avoid this company at all costs unless you are desperate for a job..
