Pros

Work from home No commute There is not many positives about working here-benefits are expensive low annual limits-getting time off requires PTO non-negotiable

Cons

NO JOB SECURITY-you can be fired in as little as 2 months-see con about call routing First, no matter what you are told, everyone is in the same queue for calls BUT THEY DO ROUTE NEW INSTALLS TO SPECIFIC AGENTS WITH THE SAME quota. This means if you aren't one of the favorites, you WILL have to work three times as hard for the same pay. They only promote those with sales of 150% and up Commission checks are taxed at 32%- so even if you hit 100% of quota you are left with 500 dollars Rampant unethical behavior and sales leave you to clean up the mess-this will be the bulk of your calls most of the day Micromanagement at its finest- when having to clean up the messes on accounts you will get in trouble for making adjustments Company does not follow its own core principles-Honesty Integrity and Fairness If you do not have PTO- you cannot take a day off without getting points-points take up to 2 months to roll one off and some days are worth 2 points-10 is termination. Angry rude customers combined with poor management create a stressful hostile work environment-expect to to be bothered on your day off about stats and be unpaid at least 10 minutes every day at the start of the shift to get the system ready to go so you don't get tardies or points. Calling other departments is like calling another company that will hang up you or cold transfer customers back To put it in perspective, CenturyLink's health care costs are 46% higher that the industry average due to stress, overeating, and alcoholism. If a customer disconnects or gets suspended within 90 days from your sale, you HAVE to pay the company the commission back and it WILL be deducted from your next commission check. Pay is lower than industry average and not worth it, McDonald's is better than working here. EVERY MONDAY IS A MANDATORY 11 hour shift and you work EVERY SINGLE SATURDAY no exceptions-both days are worth 3 points so if you call in you get 2 points. Only 15 hours of PTO is available on Saturdays to share between 150 agents, all PTO is taken the year in advance for Saturdays so no Saturdays off.

Pros

Medical Benefits are very good. Not a lot of micromanagement unless your leader doesnt understand the resources to pull this info. AI is highly encouraged, not required... which is a nice balance.

Cons

Random layoffs every couple months. Kate Johnson doesn't understand the importance of credibility in this space. Q1 customer meetings are majority introduction meetings due to constant account realignment. Leadership pretends to believe they know these are large enterprise accounts, but their actions reflect a transactional sales approach.
