Pros

My team was the only good thing that this company had to offer. WFH makes it manageable, and decent benefits were the least they could provide.

Cons

Leadership has to be the absolute WORST I've ever had the absolute displeasure of working with. They lack knowledge of BASIC managerial principle, constantly pawning off their own duties instead of... I don't know, doing your actual job?? Don't get me started on their lack of knowledge of the product. What is the point in sitting in meetings all day if you can't retain the information anyway. Employees are constantly filling in the gap for escalations because management is unable to contribute any substantial value. Accountability is non existent when it comes to managers. Metrics or expectations ALWAYS change because they fail to put vital information in written word. It's almost like they're afraid to do this, because it means taking accountability for instances in which it was not made clear to employees what said expectations are. Upper management is constantly driving for results and numbers, without taking into consideration what it even takes for an employee to achieve said results without burning out. They treat employees like CHILDREN, constantly checking numbers and keeping tabs because that's the only thing they're good at. It's almost like we aren't all established adults who are there to do what we were hired for. We are nothing but numbers to these people. You could submit absolute nonsense on a daily basis, but if you hit those numbers, then you're the star employee. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for the many years you spent with Lumivero. We’re glad to hear that your team and the flexibility of remote work were positive parts of your experience, and we appreciate the contributions you made during your time. We take seriously your frustrations. It's important that we create an environment where employees feel supported, informed, and respected. Feedback like this highlights where we can improve. As a growing company, our priorities and goals sometimes shift as we respond to customer needs, product development, and changes in the market. That can sometimes mean that processes and expectations shift as the business grows. While adaptability is an important part of how we operate, we recognize that changes need to be communicated clearly and thoughtfully, so teams understand the “why” behind them and feel equipped to succeed. We also acknowledge that we’re not perfect and we are continually learning and working to improve how we lead and communicate as well as how we support our employees. We know that meaningful improvement requires listening to employee feedback and following through with meaningful action, and comments like yours help reinforce why that work matters. We sincerely appreciate the time you spent at Lumivero and wish you the best going forward.

Pros

Remote is about the only benefit

Cons

I joined this company almost 3 years ago. They loved expats and at first it was great. The person found me on this group specifically and at first I really loved it. Based on leadership changes. It turned awful and I caution anyone to join this company! It’s super toxic, poorly run, the leadership is worse than incompetent, no clear direction, you are truly just a number here. Metrics change all the time and the surveys are performative. Anyone who is let go is blamed when it is really company failures. Do yourself a favor, don’t come here unless you love micromanaging and chaos.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for your contributions over the past several years. We’re sorry to hear that your experience has changed and that you feel frustrated with the direction of the organization. Having gone through significant growth and change in recent years, we recognize this can create uncertainty. That said, our goal is always to create a supportive environment where employees feel valued and heard while also ensuring the priorities are clear. We also want to address the comment about reviews. Lumivero does not buy or incentivize positive Glassdoor reviews. We encourage employees to share honest feedback, whether positive or critical, because it helps us learn and improve. We know we’re not perfect, and we continue working to strengthen our leadership practices, communication, and how we use employee feedback (including from our engagement surveys) to guide improvements across the organization. We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective.
