Pros

They work on headline-worthy projects across the Midwest and have an extremely competent staff. Pay is above average for many positions. Industry turn-over as the elder generation retires provides the most legitimate chance for advancement for many positions, if you are patient. Strong benefits. Office culture of being "the best". Management pushing for improvements to safety record. Note: Larry Lunda is no longer the CEO so no review is provided for CEO.

Cons

Awkward management structure between different branches in MN/WI causes power struggles and dysfunction. Old-school management mentality causes long hours and considerable stress to make things work that realistically don't work. On paper, they strive for improved safety but management does not seem to follow through on areas for improvement.

Pros

Good sized company that does a great job with pushing you to grow in project management and seems to have opportunities for upward mobility. It was great working on high profile projects and gaining the experience of so many different aspects of large projects. The company had good employee benefits and a decent competitive salary.

Cons

Company does not appear to encourage different and diverse work styles and it feels the systems they have in place are fairly rigid. Being newer to the field, I had difficulty finding a good workflow solution that worked for both me and my team. It seemed there were different expectations amongst the whole group which caused friction with the team.
