Pros

Friendly team and MOST of the management were great, amazing discounts and benefits, great rate of pay for what you do and a lovely atmosphere in store. They have a fantastic feedback system in place.

Cons

Some managment had a lot of favouritism or dislike for certain individuals. I was told on my 3rd shift (having worked less than 9 hours there at this point) that it was *really bad* that I didnt. know all the ingredients and properties in a certain product off by heart. This really brought me down, as I was trying very hard. There is a lot of strain on you, I have been told by colleagues that there is a lot of bitchiness behind the scenes. Everything you do, say, every move you make, is put down in a log and kept on record - which isnt a bad thingnuntil you're criticised for taking too many water/toilet breaks. It is certainly not an easy job, and while it isnt a hard job there is a lot of pressure.

Pros

Excellent inclusive company culture, employee discount, learning about natural ingredients for skincare, genuinely great and engaged team members, flexible work schedule for part time or casual positions.

Cons

High amount of work, unreasonable "evidence driven" feedback and coaching models, and unrealistic performance metrics for comically low pay, especially for floor coordinators. No additional pay given for specialty roles, which is many enhanced responsibilities over a specific area of the business, and little opportunity for career growth beyond the sales floor unless you are hired from an external management position. Floor Coordinator seems to be the highest rung most people can hit before being driven elsewhere.
