Pros

Employee discount Some bonuses Selling high quality products Easy to get excited for special releases etc

Cons

Inefficient management. I worked at Lush twice, under two different managers. Both were awful experiences that left me completely traumatized. Managers get away with truly heinous behaviour: altering time cards when we had to stay late and clean up after a party (shorting us $$), favouritism, allowing employees to bully other employees/excusing “aggression problems”, scheduling imbalances (I would go from working almost 35 hours one week to getting 10 hours the next week-completely unpredictable), hiring and promoting their best friends instead of long time employees, firing employees for questioning management or for seeking out other employment during scheduling crises (essentially what happened to me)… so much awfulness. It took me years to get over the trauma I experienced at this job.

Pros

Discounts, we got 50% off of most items

Cons

Unhygienic, stressful, money hungry, fear monger. Unprofessional managers both as an employee and customer. Never experienced such low life conditions, manager brought in animal multiple times in store, and made staff clean its pee. Customers were floored, inexcusable and HR is unresponsive. The bathroom is disgusting, and inaccessible. I cannot imagine any one with a physical disability being able to use the restroom. It was so difficult to suck in your stomach, then trip on box after box. They BLOCK the fridge and made us put our food in our tiny lockers. Manager is too comfortable with the amount of time spent within the company to ever fear facing any consequences or repercussions. Even fired staff in the past for contacting HR for help.
