As an affiliate for the federal government, they make it known and remind you everyday that you are not at the level that federal employees are at and all federal employees have full control over what you do for your job and/or if you get to keep your job even when they don’t work directly for the company you work under. You can have one frustrating conversation with a cohort and you can question whether or not you’ll have a job the next day. Watch your back, do your job, don’t make friends, and don’t trust anybody.
