Poor pay, poor management - Field Service Engineer Lynton Lasers Employee Review

The Directors listen and genuinely care about your future and potential with the company. As the company is in a period of rapid growth, there has been a lot of different opportunities arise and I was lucky enough to be promoted into a new management role that offers new challenges and takes into consideration the skills that I have learned along the way I have always felt that my opinions are listened to and that my skill sets are constantly updated. I have worked for Lynton for 7 years and have always felt a valued member of the team from day one.

The salaries are not the highest- however, I would rather this than a little more money in a company where I don't feel valued or count.

Handing in my notice and leaving.

Poor salary with no industry benchmark. No management encouragement and downplay achievements to avoid paying a semi-competitive salary. Bully tactics when leaving to join a bigger, global company with more opportunities for progression as they claim they are a competitor, although they operate at different ends of the market. Unless you value a decent Christmas party over comfortably paying your mortgage, don’t work for this company.
