Pros

Pay. -Start at $27.71 - 1st qualification $33 and change -2nd qual $35 and change -3rd qual $41 -4th qual $45 and change (topped out)

Cons

No real pension (3k for every yr served till retirement) Batch process is not the way to go if you can choose. (Look for continuous). Non union (is this a con?) Point system if late, sick, car trouble have to leave early, etc. 3pts = Hr meeting. 4pts=termination in a rolling yr. Ex: - call in sick .5pts (dr. Note doesn't matter) Leave early .5pts Late for any reason .5pts Call in 1 day that's a full point Call in for a full set that's 2pts You cant transfer to another location in the company. The only movement allowed is up. If you finish a degree in something that is not considered by management as a lateral move. You are better off quitting and reapplying (who would do that?)

Great experience and well known chemical manufacturing, minimal layoff since org continuously runs lean, in office environment with heavy commute for most

Cons

Lower pay offering versus their competitors in chemical commodities or O&G, long hours expected for salary employees, extremely lean organization
