Pros

When I first began work with Break Time, I enjoyed my Job and the management was great and respectful and made us (employees) feel important and commended us for good work.

Cons

After a few years, upper management changed hands. The previous supervisor knew how to talk to employees and could still use authority in a respectful manner. Our new supervisor is rude, yells at employees, talks down to you and makes you feel terrible. There is never constructive criticism, always negative. I understand you should strive for perfection, but to try to micromanage every little thing and constantly tell your employees that they are not good enough and don't work hard enough is ridiculous. We work for next to nothing yet have to deal with supervisors adding extra work to our already heavy load for minimum wage. They don't do reviews and raises like they are supposed to. I've worked there for over 3 years and still make less than $9 and hour. I love my customers more than anything, that's what has kept me there so long. We have regular customers that are just wonderful. As employees we are like a family and we do go above and beyond for our customers, but that goes unnoticed by upper management that only wants to tell you what you do wrong, never praises you. There is a MAJOR problem with upper management, they will not think twice about throwing you under the bus just to get them to where they want to be. Our current supervisor Cannot even do the paperwork himself (not fully trained) yet will tell you how you are doing everything wrong. When you ask for help to fix a problem, he just tells you to go elsewhere for help because he is incapable. So how is he a supervisor? They do not care about the bottom tier employees, plain and simple. We are the ones that put in the hard work and interact with the customers that make the company money. I feel we deserve more respect, and better treatment. We work a minimum of 8 hours with NO BREAK, for next to nothing, and this is how we are treated on top of that?! It's just not right. I would not recommend anyone to work for this company anymore. It's values have declined rapidly and they only care about the corporate employees, everyone else is disposable. Our new supervisor has said so himself. We are replaceable he says, so if they don't like what you do or your opinion you will be fired and the next poor soul is brought in to the same sad cycle. There was a time I enjoyed my job, and it saddens me that I will have to leave my customers that I am so attached to just because the company could care less about how the employees feel or what they are dealing with. You have to be careful who you even go to for help because you could be fired if the wrong person disagrees with your opinion. We rarely get bonuses promised because the system is set up to not allow us to get them due to things like audits and bogus mystery shops, which we have little control over in our position. Their expectations are unreal for the pay that we receive. And if you are management be prepared to have no life, they expect way too much out of you. They will set you up for failure.

Pros

The plant is close to my home.

Cons

Disorganized management. Upper management focused on compensation for themselves. Hiring supervisors with no experience or knowledge about the field over internal applicants with experience and knowledge to save money on salary. Driver facing cameras in all of the delivery trucks. Difficulty with following through with promised compensation/position changes.
