Pros
They do a great job training first job/entry level sales skills. This job requires a middle school level of education - every single aspect of having a job and how to sell is spelled out (i.e. how to set a password, how to set your email signature, what is a cold call, etc). If you want to get into sales and/or miss college life of parties then this is the perfect job for you. Just as long as you are okay with still living at home like so many of your coworkers because you won't get paid enough to afford to rent even a bedroom in Chicago.
Cons
Do not be fooled, hardly anyone makes above their base. This is a company that excels at churning through hundreds of fresh out of college graduates. Prepare to sit at your desk and cold call...every day...non-stop. Everything is tracked from how many notes you log to how many calls you make and the average length of time of each call (seriously, it gets emailed to everyone multiple times a day and you will be constantly critiqued based on those numbers). I could go on about how any account you might land will get given to a senior sales rep or how managers blatantly rewards their favorites but just save yourself a ton of time and get hired, keep interviewing for other jobs, and move on. To them, you are cheap labor only good for mass cold calling so treat the job the same way, use it as a stepping stone to get a professional job with actual career potential.
