Pros

This is a billion dollar privately owned company which stands on these five pillars - Growth, Stability, Autonomy, Diversity & Family. Company treats each of their employee just like family. This company is in business for 45 years & yet never laid off a single person due to lack of work, even during couple of recessions & as latest as current COVID 19 Pandemic. This speaks volume about this company. MSI sticks to their core value of protecting lives and livelihood of their employees regardless of economic ramifications. While US has lost millions of jobs during COVID19 pandemic, MSI has not laid off, furloughed any of their employees & not even salary or benefits were cut. Bonuses from 2019 were paid full in March. While business / sales were down, MSI did not change our commission system. MSI provided approximately 1000 chromebooks & tablets to hourly employees so that their children could participate in virtual learning. This is my only job after completing my college & I am still here after 16 great years with this amazing company. MSI has given me so many opportunities to learn so many different things to work my way up to this level. I am so proud to work for such an amazing company !!

Cons

Just like any fastest growing company, we do have our share of growing pains. Company is growing so quickly, it is putting an additional burden on operations, especially from hub locations.

Pros

I wish I could give you a pro RUN away if you can

Cons

Where do I start…. Micromanagement to the max: Dissecting your mileage to your sales visits even though the mileage app sucked and did not work half the time. If you drive their car you can’t even drink water as the camera will alert corporate and you get a nasty email. False promises: only be overnight 1-2 nights a week which was not true Zero training on what’s important Let people sell instead of burying them in worthless tasks Had me train for 8 weeks away from home like I was in the military and I stared at a wall in an office. My wife had a medical scare early on and I mentioned that I would like to be with her with the diagnosis and they still made me travel 8 hours from home. Pretty sure they were forcing me out as I talked to other sales reps and they weren’t under the pressure that I was. It’s not really a real sales job there is no selling your basically and order taker and spend your time trying to figure out the mess of ordering.
