Pros

I have been with this company for less than a year and there are many good things going on here. The company has a good plan set in place that is shared out to the entire company on a quarterly basis. The company admin team has core values and quarterly, yearly and 3-5 year plans that they set for the company that is shared across the organization that help everyone to know how we will work and what we need to do to reach the company goals. The employees at Mango are very approachable and easy to work with. One of the core values is to promote accountability and a healthy work environment. In my short time here I have seen this in action almost daily. What makes Mango Languages so great is that everyone can contribute and participate in conversations and projects that are going on no matter the title. Management is willing to hear ideas and open to suggestions and that has not been the case from my previous employers. Working for a company that is smaller in size allows for you to know the people you are working with and understand many aspects of the company and their departments vs working in silos. That has been a big pro to coming here as well. Overall, it's a great place to be and been fun working with such a good product as Mango Languages.

Cons

We are a small company so resources are limited. Not a big con that should be concerning but more so one that should be considered if you are used to having a lot of available resources that support your work. What is a positive from this is you can become cross functional and learn skills you may have not ever been able to apply in previous companies.

Pros

There is a lot to like here. The people are supportive, collaborative, and invested in the company's success. The culture is built on trust and transparency. We work remotely with no micromanagement, expectations are high but reasonable, and the compensation and benefits are generous. The leadership team is what stands out most. They're hardworking and humble, engaged in the day-to-day, and approachable in a way that's rare at their level. I've felt valued since day one, and I'm proud of the products and their potential to enrich the lives of those we serve. In a decade across several employers, I haven't found anywhere close.

Cons

As with any smaller company, you'll sometimes have to take on a task that doesn't have an obvious home, and the pace can pick up during busier periods. But if you enjoy variety in your day, it's a great place to grow.
