Pros

More leads than you can reasonably handle

Cons

Commission starts at 18% of 3.5% + fees. They require you to commit like you are a full-time W2 employee as if they were paying you a salary. The guaranteed offers are a bait & switch to get you the appointment with the home seller. The GO is unreasonably low and really ends up just angering the home owner who is left to feel like they were misled. Mark Spain even trains you to deal with angry clients. Imagine that, dealing with primarily angry clients on a daily basis with no real opportunity to make good money. If that sounds good then Mark Spain is the broker for you!

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience with Mark Spain Real Estate. We are thankful to be able to provide leads to our team members, alongside expert training to handle any situation that may arise as a real estate agent. Through our Guaranteed Offer program, we have served thousands of homeowners to reach their home-selling goals. However, we would be honored to connect further with you about your experience. Pros

Remote work. No other pros.

Cons

Low moral across inside teams. Separation of departments. Lack of transparency on any company changes or policy changes. There is no HR/Employee handbook. Senior leadership is not kind and lacks empathy. (Clicky) Volume is insane. Micro management at its heaviest. It is now a call center. Expect high call volume and no breaks. Job description does not match actual work. Bonus structure is weak. No opportunity for career advancement. If you wanna be underpaid and under appreciated, this is the place for you. This is not a real estate position. It’s a call center and you’re penalized for providing good customer service. The bonus structure is a ratio. Any call over 45 seconds count negatively against you and takes money from your bonus. I wouldn’t recommend this job to my worth enemy.
