Pros
They have some of the best professional development policies in the industry (stipends for CEUs, paid time off for conferences )
Cons
Everything else is terrible. While the mission and value of the organization may seem great, they do nothing do uphold the mission on the inside. 99% of the therapists I worked with were white women who would constant say very microagressive and borderline racist things to and about their POC colleagues and clients. When those workers are being called out on their behaviors, the workers get very defensive and start to target you. Not to mention, the 'cultural competency' trainings are a joke. Given that 70% of the clients are hispanic/latinx, I would assume things would be done better. Everyone in leadership is white minus a few tokens and the leadership is EXTREMELY DISORGANIZED and things are falling through the cracks and it shows. Direct supervisors are slightly better but tend to use very authoritarian tactics to keep their supervisees in line. As a social worker, working with mostly other social workers, I start to see why social workers get such a bad rep in the agency field.
