Pros

Cannot think of any at the moment.

Cons

In the years I have been employed through a MassMutual branch, the work environment has worsened. I receive no benefits because the advisors are contracted through MassMutual, but claim to be their own entity . I wish I knew this before I started working here. The average pay for my position states it is 39K with bonuses...I receive what a fast food restaurant manager or a warehouse worker would make hourly and bonuses are not given even though I am the one that completes all of the applications, lab requests, follow ups and meet one on one with clients when the agents are too busy. If you take sick days due to private matters for your health, you are still required to work from home since there are no sick days or PTO. If I want to receive my full check, no matter how sick I am I have to answer emails and complete other tasks that could be completed upon my return. No respect whatsoever for a low paid employee. Disappointed that a young woman cannot thrive in this company because of the treatment received.

Pros

Great programs for experience in fortune 100.

Cons

Cared more about building a program to attract interns than future employees.

Pros

• Decent benefits • Some good individual contributors and colleagues.

Cons

• Extremely high workload — regularly expected to work 60-80+ hours per week • Constant scope changes with unrealistic expectations and impossible deadlines • Upper management was disconnected and showed little concern for employee well-being • Highly political environment where internal politics often outweighed actual performance • Mass layoffs that eliminated roughly half the engineering team, followed by offshoring many roles to India — even after many of us had dedicated 4+ years to the company • Extremely stressful and unsustainable culture leading to widespread burnout
