Pros

They have average benefits but frowns on you when you need to use it.

Cons

Highly disorganized, software license sharing (really horrible practice) and you will get blamed of you do not get your work done because of their inadequacy to provide necessary tools, information, manpower, software etc. They court you well when you start to interview but you will see hell few weeks after you start. This place is a sweat shop, very poor in helping employees progress in their position. Very toxic place to work!

Pros

I was a former employee of MMA. It's a great place to work and grow with. Here are things that I enjoyed working here: 1. The chance to work on the commercial projects from big brands to gain valuble experience. 2. Local projects to get you connected to people. 3. You can get familiar with a wide range of project types- from conceptual design to construction documents, from k12 to retail to healthcare facilities, from landscape to interior. 4. I loved the energetic vibe brought by people diversity! I was lucky enough to work with a group of people who were professional and easy going at the same time which made us a great team at the time. I definately appreciate the friendship I got from this job! 5. My supervisor/company owner/principal Gabe is one of the most passionate, experienced, innovative architects I've ever seen. He is a great guy and so as his little furry buddy Astro. 6. The location is a huge plus! It is very close to Asbury Park and beach. I still remember in summer lunch break we hung out together on the boardwalk. There is a nice work life balance here. 7. Lots of lunch and learn that gave me lots of opportunities to keep pace with the latest industry info.

Cons

1. If you are a city lover, the location won't work for you. (But there is a DC office as an option.) 2. If you are interested in working on projects outside of US, there is not much of oppurtunities.
