Pros
I've worked at MFS (formerly Master Chemical) for many years and have seen significant changes. Although the company has grown and faces have changed, the people and culture are what continues to make this place special. Everyone is passionate about taking care of the customer and treats each other with respect while working hard to win in the marketplace. No politics. Process-driven without being overly bureaucratic. The days can be long but they are fulfilling as there is always opportunities to get involved beyond the normal scope of your job. I'm happy to be part of this great team!
Cons
The company is very lean, with minimal layers of management, which means a clearly defined career progression is not offered for those who like to steadily move up the corporate ladder. Still plenty of challenges if you are willing to take on projects and are comfortable with recognition but not necessarily a long list of job titles.
