      Pros

      This is a great company to work for. The company has a great culture that is fun to work for and rewarding. This is also a very flat organization that values the input from all people. There is a LOT of knowledge here and they don't mind sharing it to help you out in a bind with a customer or a product recommendation to help you out as well. The pay is great, but with that comes a good amount of responsibility and a LOT of work.

      Cons

      There is quite a bit of travel involved.

      I talked with our Sales VP and he “approved this comment.” I know with great opportunity comes great effort. The key is how we balance our work life and our family life. We all work very hard and our sales team and other members of our team do travel extensively. We are an ethics based company that practices The Golden Rule. My best advice is to always be home for important family events and “Just Say No” to travel when it would have you miss a family milestone that should never be missed. Thank you for your comments.

      I think I will let Dr. Florio answer this one as well but is clearly an area we need to consider because with growth and new products will come the growth of the technical team and then this would become even more pronounced - please to hold as Dr. Florio is traveling to visit our China technical team at this time.

      Good Company, Great People, Wonderful Culture!

      Pros

      I've worked at MFS (formerly Master Chemical) for many years and have seen significant changes. Although the company has grown and faces have changed, the people and culture are what continues to make this place special. Everyone is passionate about taking care of the customer and treats each other with respect while working hard to win in the marketplace. No politics. Process-driven without being overly bureaucratic. The days can be long but they are fulfilling as there is always opportunities to get involved beyond the normal scope of your job. I'm happy to be part of this great team!

      Cons

      The company is very lean, with minimal layers of management, which means a clearly defined career progression is not offered for those who like to steadily move up the corporate ladder. Still plenty of challenges if you are willing to take on projects and are comfortable with recognition but not necessarily a long list of job titles.
