Pros
Good brand name. Have the majority percentage of the credit card market in the UK. Nice clients (mostly!)
Cons
No training for people joining from outside the industry. Misaligned HR / Team leadership recruitment positioning Mastercard as a technology company, when it has poor internal systems, all IT is out-sourced, and it is clearly only a cards company. Recent lay-offs have created a bad feeling making certain employees (who have been there 15+ years) very competitive with new joiners, to the point of harassment.
