Poor senior mgt, very stuffy atmosphere, no work from home, strict hours, flexibility is poor, not much opportunity for growth. Very high turnover. Most folks in leadership roles there less than two years then leave.

We take feedback seriously at Mayzo, and this review is perplexing. Over our company history, we have had two people in the Director, Sourcing Management role that is mentioned. One was a key contributor to the company’s growth for 20 years. She enjoyed a career that included several promotions, culminating in the Director level position before she retired. The other person was with the company only 8 days before we realized we had a made a mistake and he was not a fit for us. Yes, our professional standards do include “strict hours” meaning punctuality, especially for people in Director positions who are role models for others. And yes (under normal non-COVID conditions), working together at the office is important to our company culture. The collaboration, innovation and proactive service to customers that result from sharing a physical space is a key competitive advantage for us. We try to be very clear about the way we work during the interview process so that there are no surprises, but apparently we failed in this person’s case. This feedback will help us get better. Our company culture may not be for everyone, but for someone who enjoys working hard with other smart people and having a personal impact in an entrepreneurial atmosphere, it’s a lot of fun.
Mayzo's people actually care about the company's success. In an organization this size, each person has a direct impact on the bottom line. I'm thrilled to be a part of the team
Cons
Mayzo understands that being a world class employer can mean different things to different people. Like all companies, there's opportunity for improvement in this quest but the management team is committed to making the work environment the very best it can be.
Great team to work with. Freedom to make decisions and had full support of upper management. Got to work on some fun projects along the way and felt that my input was accepted. Were very transparent with the move out of state and gave me plenty of time to find a new job.
Cons
My only issue was they moved from Georgia to South Carolina and I was not able to make the move with them.

We really appreciate this former employee's dedication. Although he was unable to accept our relocation offer when we opened a larger Operations Center out of state, he made sure our transition was successful by coming in on weekends to help us out. Great guy - we were not surprised to learn he found a new role right away, and wish him all the best!
