Positive work environment - Project Manager Medelis Employee Review

Clinical Research Organization (CRO) with good intentions in cancer Phase 1 thru Phase 4 cancer clinical trials.

Individual who was project manager for the one study during the company startup was seen as not being able to do anything wrong and made rest of office extremely uncomfortable which put a stress on everyone else to walk on eggshells.

A few very nice people with good intentions.

Lack of support for employees in general. One upper management person does not do their job unless cornered or you get the CEO involved and also tends to lie about what work they are doing, shows up late for meetings or not at all and generally makes everyone else's job more difficult. Never wants to change anything, even things that don't work, because "we've always done it that way." This person's bar is set to the lowest position possible -- what is the least I can do and still get the job done (barely). One of those that always seem busy but never really gets anything done. The epitome of working "hard," not smart.
