Pay is at best, average with limited opportunities for employee growth and development. MSD is very top heavy and seems to only source “talent” from outside the company rather than utilizing some of the great folks that already work there. It seems they have no problem adding executive after executive but are unwilling to hire for entry level positions which places a heavy burden on hourly employees that actually do the heavy lifting. In additon, the overall benefits package seems to be lack luster with ever increasing heath insurance costs. In my opinion HR fails short in negotiating with providers to get fair costs with decent coverage. HR seems to have a very poor feel/grasp on the company/employee moral overall.
