Pros

You will receive a paycheck every month.

Cons

This is the protoypical story of a startup lead by a bro that is on a path to failure desperately grasping for any thread to survive. There are unpaid long hours and the employees are aware the company is failing and are just content to collect their paychecks. There is no culture of taking responsibility and people continually scapegoat others because everyone operates out of fear. There is no overall vision for the company and there are no clear roles for employees. If you want to work here, ask how many doctors or patients really actually use their app. The answer is almost zero. The company has raised a lot of money and spends much of it on marketing hype and paying for articles to be written, but it has not found traction in the healthcare marketplace. The CEO is under great pressure and continually scapegoats his employees. The CEO is very convincing, but is closer to a snake-oil salesman than a real entrepreneur. I cannot say more until I quit and find another job.

Pros

The team at MediciMD is passionate about their mission and committed to employing a phenomenal team. Culture is a priority. The mission of the company is one that employees can believe in and feel really good about.

Cons

Employees at Medici may need to be prepared to be dynamic and flexible with their work as the industry of healthcare technology is rapidly changing and will require adaptation. Thus, this job may not be for those who are interested in unchanging routine.

Pros

The workload is predictable and the pay is steady.

Cons

- Supervisors are obsessed with control and micromanagement instead of guidance. - Every small task is inspected as if employees cannot be trusted to think for themselves. - Independence is nonexistent, and even basic decisions require unnecessary approval. - The constant surveillance crushes confidence and drains any motivation to do well. - Morale is destroyed by the need to constantly prove you are working rather than being allowed to simply do your job.
