Pros

Medidata is a team driven, accepting and diverse company. Compensation is good, great perks (unlimited PTO, work from home, Employee Stock Plan, Game rooms and travel) and a ton of opportunities to grow in a forever changing environment. Not unusual to see someone promoted to Manager from within.

Cons

You will get burned out if you let yourself work long hours and weekends. Focus on work/life balance. I feel like remote employees are often overlooked for promotions due to their absences.

Pros

The company was fantastic when I first started working there, the culture was embracing and supportive. Folks seem to care about your development at first and your growth.

Cons

After 3ds bought the company it started going downhill gradually, many c suite turnover, terminations and new latest CEO is clueless when it comes to executing the vision, while also making sure they continue delivering on NEXT all on all these features when at launch half of them don’t even work properly. Having spent years at the company I saw clients lose trust on the products and leadership, a lot of times CEO’s from client side would give advice on senior management on processes which being the vendor we should be the leaders on guidance not the other way around. Consider applying to other SaaS companies.
