Pros

Great onboarding process and lots of support to make you feel welcome as a remote/hybrid worker. The team are highly qualified and attentive to your needs. Working environment is healthy and constructive to bring the best out of you every day. There is a great culture and balance between work and play. Lots of networking opportunities and ability to see cross functional collaborations. This is exciting as the career prospects for progression are visible and attainable. Really delighted to be part of Medidata and looking forward to a prosperous future.

Cons

The only downside I can think of and even that isn't the best phrase here, is the volume of learning labs you have to complete in the onboarding period. The learning labs are a great resource to learn about the breadth and depth of the company, and if you're a curious person like me, then act as a great foundation to support networking conversations and possible collaborative working. Although at some points it does get over whelming due to how much you need to do in the allocated timelines and you do question how much you have actually retained based on learning so much so soon. The good thing about the learning labs, is you can always reference back to them and go over the learning again if needed. Other than that, I'm pleased with everything else.

Pros

The company was fantastic when I first started working there, the culture was embracing and supportive. Folks seem to care about your development at first and your growth.

Cons

After 3ds bought the company it started going downhill gradually, many c suite turnover, terminations and new latest CEO is clueless when it comes to executing the vision, while also making sure they continue delivering on NEXT all on all these features when at launch half of them don’t even work properly. Having spent years at the company I saw clients lose trust on the products and leadership, a lot of times CEO’s from client side would give advice on senior management on processes which being the vendor we should be the leaders on guidance not the other way around. Consider applying to other SaaS companies.
