Pros

-Unlimited PTO -Long maternity/paternity leaves -Often catered lunches -Fun after hours parties and happy hours -Was mostly remote, now hybrid -If you want a job that's not fulfilling or mentally stimulating but pays well, work in the finance department -High pay for little work, plus yearly bonus and raises

Cons

-This was one of the most boring jobs I ever had! They sell this role as something it's not. If you're interviewing for this role just know that it's basically billing/accounting and fixing billing errors. That's it. You're not learning Excel skills, you're not learning modern software like Tableau or Power BI. The role is basically entry level into the company, many people start there and end up moving on to another group. But the catch is you really can only move to another Finance group. For a company that's been around for 20 years there's no real internal transfer process in place to move to other departments and HR/Talent Acquisition even "advises" that if you're interested in moving to another department you should try "becoming friends" with that department's manager. Wtf? And when you apply and even interview for another role they don't have the decency to email you that you were not selected for that role. -Earlier this year they did a return to office mandate that included employees that were already hired as fully remote (not hybrid). I lost all respect for the company that day. -Higher ups constantly bring in new software for us to use without properly testing it and made our jobs harder. Worse part is the software isn't even industry wide so it's almost pointless to put on your resume. -We get a new CEO every year for the past 4 years. This guy that many people are complaining about in the reviews is most likely being set up as a scapegoat and won't be CEO come next year. -My team got a new manager every few months and constant re-organizations in the finance department. People get moved around often with no say or care unless you're one of the favorites. -Weird racism, especially for a company headquartered in diverse NYC. I felt like if I wasn't performing as a caricature of my race then I was ignored and looked over. -If you're not an extrovert and super loud this place isn't for you. -They force you to take annual survey reviewing your manager/higher ups and if they don't score well then your entire team is forced into a meeting with your lead/manager by the VP and asked why you rated them poorly and how they can improve. Crazy awkward. Overall I never felt comfortable on my team or my role. There was no real way to use my Excel skills or learn any other "analyst" skills in the role. I was dying of boredom and my skills were atrophying.

Pros

The company was fantastic when I first started working there, the culture was embracing and supportive. Folks seem to care about your development at first and your growth.

Cons

After 3ds bought the company it started going downhill gradually, many c suite turnover, terminations and new latest CEO is clueless when it comes to executing the vision, while also making sure they continue delivering on NEXT all on all these features when at launch half of them don’t even work properly. Having spent years at the company I saw clients lose trust on the products and leadership, a lot of times CEO’s from client side would give advice on senior management on processes which being the vendor we should be the leaders on guidance not the other way around. Consider applying to other SaaS companies.
