Pros

Paid Training Program Free Lunch Casual Dress Code Easy to get hired: "I have a bullet point mentality. Very organized. Enthusiastic about accuracy and a fine attention to detail." They eat it up. If you know you want to be a CRA, this is a great place to start. They will pay you a very reasonable amount during your training (about 7 months) while you are contributing basically nothing to the company. Prior experience is not required. Once you are trained, you can stick around for another 6 months or so to really get used to the position, but after that you're likely to find a 10-20 percent raise going to another company. This company sets itself up in a way where you really wanna go there to get trained, but even if you feel like you owe them something for investing in you, it is really hard to want to stay.

Cons

Pay is lower than average, benefits are garbage, pretty shady company in general. To start, everyone who is any good at their job tends to leave 1-2 years in because someone else will pay you about 15 percent more across all most job levels and types. Management refuses to let you work from home even when your job is easily doable from afar. The 401k is interesting because you can get up to 4% match pretty easily, but 0% vested for 3 YEARS. The average life of a CRA there is closer to 15 months, so the vast majority of CRAs will never a dime of their match. Furthermore, they have an interesting credit system that helps CRAs who travel a lot and put in "overtime" get some bonus cash, but you only can paid out for it at the end of January, so if you leave / get laid off before then, you lose everything accrued. Also, during the FLSA transition (From salaried to hourly), even though it didn't end up going through, we were told that our "effort hours" (billable hours to clients) wouldn't line up with our paid hours. Shady as it gets, Medpace was implementing policy that would allow them to bill other companies for work they weren't paying us for. Just use this company to get trained and leave when you are ready. It seems dishonest, but it's hard to feel bad for doing that when they take every measure possible to screw you.

Pros

Good experience for people right out of school

Cons

Lots of favoritism and office politics. Felt very unappreciated. Strongly suggest looking for something else if you are not one of the favored employees after a couple years
