Pros

-Was able to learn a lot and get experience in Clinical Research -Great co-workers

Cons

Company will let employees go even if they have never received a warning or counseling in 11+ years. They just had a massive layoff but wont call it that in order to save their reputation and not have to pay employees a severance. I worked there for over a decade and never had a bad review. Direct supervisor did not enforce the work from home policy and employees are being let go for this with no warning or counseling. Employees were led to believe it was the discretion of their supervisor. If this wasn't the case then they should have disciplined the managers for not enforcing it first, instead of just letting hundreds of good employees go. Value your employees instead of making them feel like trash. Do not waste hard work and dedication on a company like this. Terrible training…Medpace just throws you out there to learn on your own. No in person training just sit at your desk and read SOPs. They like to dump a lot of work on their employees and there was no cap on the amount of trials I managed. At one point I had 15 trials to manage.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you have enjoyed working with your co-workers, but are disappointed by your thoughts of our organization. In regards to compliance to our organizational policies, including the remote work policy, we ask all employes to review and sign-off on standard organizational policies on an annual basis. Failure to comply with Medpace policies, for example the Remote Work Policy, may impact eligibility for discretionary bonus and merit increases. We believe that we provide a flexible schedule to our employees, most employees reviewing 8 days of flexible monthly work from home time. We encourage all employees to escalate cultural concerns to their supervisor and/or Human Resources Representative.
