Pros

I worked for mercy for 4 years, they offered a decent amount of PTO and ESB per pay period, the doctors are great to work with

Cons

Everything, The amount of pressure placed by the supervisors at the Ortho clinic is so unrealistic, they will write you up for stuff that they continuously do, they do not pay a living wage. They hire medical assistants to do the same job i had as an LPN for $4+ less an hour. Their health insurance sucks. They take your holiday out of your PTO. 10/10 would never go back

Pros

Good base rate: starts at 30 with 10k sign on bonus Weekend program gets an extra 9.50 an hr Diffs are Evenings: 2. Nights: 4. Weekends: 1.5

Cons

Very short staffed They mark everyone as “average” on performance reviews so they only have to give you a 3% raise Last year due to “budget cuts” they only gave every person a 2.5% raise even those 1/3 of our staff had quit. We have like half of the staffing we used to have If you spend the night during a snow storm you don’t get anything for it
