Pros

- Had Fridays off until they mandated Fridays in center even if I didn’t have a client scheduled, was a flexible schedule for a long time - $200/year toward CEUs - Much effort is put into making center appealing & more modern

Cons

- No performance reviews (even annually) despite requesting one time and time again - No opportunities for raise or bonus pay despite ABA clinicians having bonus structure - Poor integrity from leadership - Impulsive, greedy CEO - No budget for longest time, then introduced minimal monthly to cover basics. - No control over your schedule - No opportunities to reschedule clients to meet your hours - ABA is their only priority, OT is there so they can check a box that they offer services & compete with local companies - Poor communication - Animals are allowed to run through hallways & feces are left on floor for days in center - The smell of animals alone, cages are not cleaned often enough - No opportunity for professional advancement, no mentorship, ABA clinicians have monthly meetings for growth that specialty therapies (OT/Speech) are not invited to - Expect you to call insurance companies to obtain auths with no training then point fingers when they are not reimbursed properly - OT is not respected or valued. Clinical recommendations are not followed. OM or leadership pushes back or questions you when you recommend different treatment dosage due to their lack of schedule coverage & prioritization of billables - Slow growing, difficult to secure enough clients for full caseload - High turnover of ABA staff - Parents never attended sessions, was very challenging to find opportunities to educate others appropriately - Non compete agreement
