I find it very disheartening that MeridianLink respondents would not denounce the way a current employee talks about previous employees- “naysayers … never gave the company a chance and brought down morale with their negativity”. This shows a lack of integrity exemplifies the MeridianLink culture of “You’re with us or You’re the Problem”. Sometimes people are not a culture fit, sometimes they are mistreated. This moved my rating from 2 stars to 1. Executive Management does not like to be challenged, does not promote/reward education and stifles innovation. They fear that education will result in people leaving for better opportunities. The company exploits young workers right out of college, making them feel like they are part of a family and that their sacrifice will be rewarded in the end. Many of the employees who left could see the big picture and took roles with 40-60% higher pay, more responsibility, tools to do their jobs and benefits far superior to those offered by MeridianLink.
I believe the CEO is empathetic to his clients and employees and is very intelligent. However, I have had to mark that I disapprove of him because of his inability and/or inaction, in identifying and dealing with a toxic executive that is resulting in many great and innovative people leaving.
