      Medical, Dental, and retirement benefits are good

      Cons

      The Police Dept. Administration is quick to say they care about you and they are one big family but all they do is use and abuse you. They remain highly under staffed and expect officers to cover all the extra shifts even if that means mandatory 60 plus hours everey week. If you are injuired or go on a leave of absence do not expect any opf them to call and check on you because they do not care enough to do that.

      Caring and compassionate culture. Everyone from the volunteers to the CEO truly embodies the organization's mission and values. Best place that I have ever worked!
