Not worth it - Sales Associate MiCamp Solutions Employee Review

Pros

Sometimes there are free lunches and there are a few people who work there that are nice

Cons

Everyday at Micamp feels like an episode of Survivor, except instead of competing for a million dollars, your fighting for your sanity. The C suite scream, send ruthless emails and genuinely do not care about you. It's like dealing with a tantrum-throwing toddler, except this toddler controls your paycheck. The CFO is really the mastermind behind the petty games. He thrives on creating chaos and watching employees tear each other apart. If your not willing to stab your colleagues in the back, you might as well kiss your career aspirations goodbye. Unless you enjoy being treated like a disposable pawn in a game of corporate chess, steer clear of Micamp. Its not worth it and your mental health will thank you.

Pros

Best company I have ever worked at!! This job teaches you lessons that make successful people. Individuals who do not understand these lessons are the ones that will never be successful in life and complain about other issues instead of reflecting. This place creates winners and champions in life.

Cons

There are no cons whatsoever.

Pros

The other employees are good people.

Cons

The employee turnover is extremely high (for good reason). Micamp is incredibly chaotic, and the leadership team just does not care about the employees. High turnover is treated as normal so even if you like the people you work with, they’ll be gone in a few weeks anyway. Leadership makes promises about improvements (pay, benefits, time off) that never happen and even basic workplace amenities have been removed. Advancement depends heavily on personal connections and how the Ceo and Cfo feel about you in the moment rather than performance. The sales approach is very aggressive and lying to customers is not only expected but encouraged. The Ceo only cares about his online image and writes his own Glassdoor reviews saying there are "no cons" to working there. Think about the last 3 jobs you had. Were there cons working there? Of course. But he's so obsessed with his image he needs to write his own reviews to control the narrative. At a high level, pay is awful, benefits are nonexistent, leadership is disconnected from employee realities, and the culture encourages lying to customers. It was without a doubt the worst place I've ever worked.
