Pros

The membership and suppliers are amazing! This is where “family” plays into this company. The employees at the Fort Worth office are one of a kind and some of the best people you’ll ever meet. They’re loyal, selfless, and go-getters. They work nights and weekends just to stay afloat, and that in itself is irreplaceable.

Cons

The executive team isn’t aligned so you’re constantly chasing your tail to get the job done. They don’t value their employees or their hard work. They reward employees with a monthly luncheon, but other than that, they are worried about their own successes (which aren’t really theirs; it’s the employees working tirelessly to make them look good). Going above and beyond is expected here, and the 3% raises don’t justify the work you put in. When you work for a company for over 6 years and don’t get told “thanks for your hard work” or even a “good luck on your future endeavors”, you know you made the right choice to leave.

The company culture at Mid-States is truly inspiring. From the moment I joined, I felt welcomed and valued. The team is collaborative, supportive, and genuinely cares about each other’s success. Leadership encourages growth, innovation, and work-life balance, creating an environment where everyone can thrive. It’s a place where employees are empowered to bring their best selves to work every day. I’m proud to be a part of such a positive and inclusive culture!

Pros

Decent coworkers, free dog food

Cons

EVERYTHING!!! Upper Management makes promises they have no intentions of keeping. The pay is abysmal (under $20hr to build pallets full of oil, antifreeze, and other heavy bulky items) considering the amount of physical labor required in a days work. Don't expect much help from your captains, they play favorites and are hive minded - get on ones bad side, consider yourself screwed. A company that is very much stuck in the past and expects their employees to devote their lives to the job. This job will take years off your life.
