Pros

Very high profile and exciting clients. Middle Seat is considered one of the "best in the biz" when it comes to digital and I'd say we've definitely earned that reputation. Pretty great benefits too.

Cons

Staff are overworked, perpetually burnt out, and we're constantly short staffed. No one stays past 2 years and there's very little reason to; the work is repetitive and exhausting. Promotions are far and few in between and based on arbitrary terms, if management likes you and you're a favorite or how long you've been there. Management is practically non-existent and one team director in particular is a huge mansplainer (or so I hear) and no one seems to like him. Partners are extremely unhelpful, as another reviewer noted. Morale is also pretty low at MS right now. We've recently had an exodus (and someone got fired) – all people of color – and many others are plotting their exits. Not exactly the kind of environment people want to be in.

Pros

Great place to work for, I learned a lot and enjoyed my time there. They work hard but put a lot into making it a good place to work despite the demands of political consulting.

Cons

They don't hire a lot of entry-level staff, which can make it hard to transition from intern to a permanent role even if qualified

Pros

Co-workers are generally nice and help each other.

Cons

The work load is unacceptable and neverending. Work notifications are sent during off work hours and are invasive. Feel likemphasized. Things need to be submitted immediately, but clients often sit on them for a long time. Compensation is very low for the type of work and amount of work that's given.
