Pros

Colleagues are friendly You learn a lot and get to work on a bunch of campaigns There are a bunch of virtual team building events Many clients are doing great work and you can help design campaigns that respond to critical issues

Cons

Work load is insane Slack notifications even on weekends Feel like the rush is often over emphasized. Things need to be submitted immediately, but clients often sit on them for a long time. Feel like salary is low for the workload I was an intern and I appreciate all the opportunities I was given, however I often felt like the intern work was overwhelming. I feel like they also needed an additional full time employee on the team rather than interns.

Pros

Great place to work for, I learned a lot and enjoyed my time there. They work hard but put a lot into making it a good place to work despite the demands of political consulting.

Cons

They don't hire a lot of entry-level staff, which can make it hard to transition from intern to a permanent role even if qualified

Pros

Co-workers are generally nice and help each other.

Cons

The work load is unacceptable and neverending. Work notifications are sent during off work hours and are invasive. Feel likemphasized. Things need to be submitted immediately, but clients often sit on them for a long time. Compensation is very low for the type of work and amount of work that's given.
