Some of the owners are really nice people.

Leadership turnover has been frequent, which has created challenges with consistency and long-term direction. My experience was that the current sales leadership style did not fully leverage the knowledge and experience of tenured team members. Communication often felt transactional rather than collaborative, and there was limited recognition of employees’ past accomplishments and expertise. Additionally, there appeared to be a tendency to place responsibility for broader organizational issues primarily on the sales team, which could make it difficult to foster a culture of shared accountability.

Pros

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a family-owned and operated company. They care deeply about every part of the organization, from daily operations to long-term goals. Unlike some family-run businesses where the family stays in distant, high-level roles, here they’re hands-on, involved, and approachable. There’s a genuine sense of purpose and you can feel like your work matters.

Cons

Processes are evolving as the company grows, which means you need to be adaptable and comfortable with some ambiguity. If you’re looking for a rigid corporate playbook, this might not be the best fit, but if you’re flexible and proactive, it’s a great environment.

There’s not one good thing about this.

The work environment at this company is extremely disorganized and toxic, primarily due to dysfunctional ownership. The leadership is comprised of multiple siblings who are unable to agree on anything, leading to constant conflict and a lack of direction. This lack of professionalism permeates throughout the organization. Employees are consistently overworked and underpaid, with little to no recognition or appreciation for their efforts. Micromanagement is rampant, with owners frequently speaking poorly about staff, screaming at employees, and displaying unprofessional behavior such as slamming doors in their faces. It creates a highly toxic workplace culture that makes it difficult to feel valued or supported. It’s looked down upon to have a personality, if you do they look at you as if you’re not normal. Despite being classified as “salaried” employees, you are still required to punch in and out, a clear attempt by ownership to maintain unnecessary control over staff. Titles within the company are essentially meaningless, as there’s no room for advancement, and employees are often expected to handle the responsibilities of multiple roles while being compensated at the lowest possible rate. To make matters worse, the health insurance offered is subpar, and the compensation is not sufficient to even afford the coverage. While the company may be attempting to recruit younger employees, I strongly advise anyone considering this opportunity to be cautious. The company’s toxic environment is draining, and the owners expect employees to work at an unsustainable pace with little regard for their well-being. If you value your mental and physical health, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
